Bodyweight Training is Best Way to Burn Fat & Build Muscle

Bodyweight training is one of the best ways to burn fat and build muscle. Unfortunately, most people think (or are led to believe) they should have a room full of equipment or an exclusive gym membership in order to better their physique. They completely overlook the fat burning and muscle building ability of bodyweight training. I trust this article opens your eyes to the possibilities of using the gym you were born with!

Heads up: at the end of the article I’m going to explain to you one exercise that simultaneously builds muscle and burns fat.

It’s happened to all of us at one situation or another (even me). We look in the mirror one day and we observe we are softer and fatter. While we weren’t looking in the mirror, our muscle tone and power has decreased, and our waistline has enlarged. This is when most would say, “It’s time to hit the gym”.

How Vitamins Deficiencies And Joint Pain Are Related

If you suffer from an illness that causes joint pain, such as osteoarthritis, it is possible that vitamin deficiencies might be contributing to the problem. Although using vitamin supplements including vitamin D, the antioxidant vitamins A,C and E, and essential fatty acids will not cure your joint pain, they can significantly relieve your symptoms and prevent the illness progressing.

Arthritis takes many different forms and is the most common chronic illness in America. It is occurs when the cartilage that naturally protects and cushions the joints is worn away causing inflammation and a great deal of pain. Vitamin D deficiency does not cause arthritis but can increase its severity and consequently the symptoms.

Some vitamin D occurs naturally in the body and is produced by the skin when it is exposed to sunlight for a limited period of time. People who live in climates where they are exposed to very little sunlight are particularly encouraged to take Vitamin D supplements for this reason. Although vitamin D is found naturally is some foods such as eggs and fatty fish, most people need to eat foods fortified with vitamin D to get their recommended daily allowance.

Weightlifting Routine for Beginners

Women in particular are often intimidated by weightlifting because they are concerned that the exercises will be too challenging or they don’t want to bulk up. Following a proper weightlifting routine can eliminate both worries. Lifting weights is a simple process. What’s more, building muscle boosts your metabolism, allowing you to burn more calories, which results in a sexier, more sculpted body.

Proper form is critical in weightlifting. Poor form can lead to serious injury. Beginners should start out with lighter weight and concentrate on perfecting form. Avoid jerking, throwing and bouncing the weights around. Your goal is to execute smooth, fluid motions with the weight. Once you have mastered proper form and balance, then you can advance to a high-intensity weightlifting routine.

Tip: Don’t be afraid to ask for help while you are at the gym. If you are having trouble with a certain exercise, ask a trainer for help. They should be able to answer your questions and give you guidance on proper form free of charge.

: Body Solid G8I Iso Flex Home Gym: Sports & Outdoors

When I was shopping for a weight machine I could find no reviews on the G8I. Now that I’ve used one for a while I thought I should provide one.

I was first attracted to the G8I because of its size. At 6’6″ many machines are too small for me. This one isn’t. It feels right for me. Assembly is straightforward and pretty intuitive. I use it for circuit training; 5 sets of 15 reps- one set of each of four pulling exercises straight through without rest periods alternating with 10 minutes treadmill first day; five sets of four pushing exercises punctuated with treadmill second day followed by rest days. Four sessions per week. The machine works very well for this. adjustments are made very quickly and easily. The machine does not interfere with the momentum of the session. The actions are smooth and silent. The machine handles almost everything I need very well including deadlifts. The one exception is squats (I don’t have space for the optional leg press), which I do with free weights. I don’t mind. I still like the feel of free weights.
